In order to receive counseling for finding permanent employment and housing, the resident must have completed disintoxication, job training and/or studies and developed living skills.  The Home provides the resident with the opportunity to live in a half-way house while securing a permanent job, managing personal finances, carry out the responsibilities of everyday living and obtain permanent housing.  When they "graduate" and commence independent life in permanent housing they will have developed, with The Home, a follow-up plan to assure their stability.
